There are any number of people, young and old, who need Physical Therapy treatment and who may not be able to afford it. That is where Sunshine Physical Therapy is able to help out. From their website;
“In the late 1940’s, a small group of people saw the need to help the physically challenged in our community. They became the nucleus for a larger group of humanitarians, establishing the Sunshine Center of Indian River County in 1953. A year later, the Center was incorporated as a non-profit organization. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life of all our patients, and offer professional services by a friendly, caring, and well-qualified staff. We service a variety of patients from children, seniors, and veterans. ”
As the Exchange Club’s Charter is about the prevention of Child Abuse, we are particularly interested in the therapy services provided to the children in our area who urgently need this type of therapy. If you have a family member who is dealing with a child with disabilities, you know first hand how much Physical Therapy can help.
If you would like to join us for one of our special guest speakers, just let us know.
